We built a single flexible government platform and dozens of cohesive navigation systems, serving over 50 state agencies. I conducted research, workshops, content modeling, site architecture, UI refinement, user feedback, and training.

This collaboration unified unique audience experiences across many sources and platforms in one redesigned hub. I led phases of discovery, user research, wireframing, navigation, interface design, CMS architecture and taxonomy.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts

This project focused on refining an existing state system with iteration and testing. I increased wayfinding by establishing tertiary navigation systems, one of which is now available as a Drupal module.

For more than a year, I restructured and aligned Iowa’s most-used agency site via research, audits, architecture, user testing, & content migration. The project resulted in an 80 percent reduction in content.

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)

AIChE needed a scrappy but holistic overhaul of their website, built to last. I established a sustainable design system that could serve a small web team.
